FIA lands on Tanoa, steals cars from Syndikat, then moves inland through CSAT patrols to make contact with Captain Miller in the interior of the island.

Feedback to commence after our first runthrough!

Basically, Admiral Ackbar, the mission. NATO Light Infantry have ambushed a convoy and laid a trap for the expected CSAT response. CSAT Mech. Infantry know that the pass is a trap, but have to punch through and secure the convoy in 45 minutes or less anyways. Feedback to commence after the first run...

Re: fa3_c60_quds_radio_hour

That's an absolute negatory, sorry. I do my damnest to avoid mixing transport options, and that means keeping Orcas or shifting everyone to Tarus. Switching the platoon to unarmed helos is a non-starter, as the cooperation between armed helos and the light infantry they transport is pretty much the ...

Re: fa3_c40_ghosthawkdown

This mission already has three different transport methods as it is. A fourth would make logistics even worse.

Re: fa3_cz61_altistan_d1p2

Good corridor mission, and chopping off the third objective would probably cut the timeframe down to the ideal 45-60 minutes. The second phase of the mission is basically Helljumpers-Redux , but without the tanks, so you may consider doing something that spices up Objective #2. The city-base was eer...

Re: fa3_c53_spoopy_swamp

This mission has some major issues that I feel need to be resolved. As a model, I strongly suggest you look at Idiots II, which is basically this mission, but much more playable. So, in no particular order: Enemy UGLs - When grenades are landing on us every half-second, then you've got far too many ...

Re: ArmA 3's backstory - Geopolitics, Ho!

I think most of that seems very plausible, a secular Iran is something that could easily happen IRL, judging from the way the Iranians I know talk about home. China-Iran alliance also possible, especially if Iran becomes secular, and selling oil to China has been a way to avoid some of the impact o...

ArmA 3's backstory - Geopolitics, Ho!

Stemming from some discussion in the Folk ARPS Skype channel, I started writing an essay about how the modern world might end up in the state of ArmA 3, especially regarding the formation and rise of CSAT. There's some cool geopolitics that could very well lead to CSAT in a plausible manner. First o...
