Hi all,

I'm a London-based comrade, was looking for a friendly mp group and came across FA in RPS. The last future/space shooter I played and enjoyed was QuakeWorld (I played it when it came out - I am that old). I play Red Orchestra, and from this day forth, Arma 2.

I'm a computer programmer, and have too many hobbies: photography, music, reading, and computer games (other than the afore-mentioned, mostly strategy, simulators, and weird indie games). I love London, and spend most of my weekends walking around.

I'm looking forward to seeing you online!

Hi! I've heard good things about the ARPS Sunday night session so I'm going to come along tonight and try not to fall out of a Blackhawk prematurely :clint:.

Hi, HungryDinosaur,
Good things happen not only in Sundays, but in Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Welcome to FA.

Hi all!

I've been planning to do this ARMA thing for a while now, so I thought I'd give it a go with you fine folk. Hopefully I can navigate my way through the Teamspeak fun and speak to you guys later :)

I am also slightly alarmed by the list of emoticons that you apparently need to express yourself... :psyboom:

Hello, I was thinking of joining you folks this sunday. I have read the information found in the forum and I have TS3.

However I have never played Arma 2 (as opposed to other FPS) before and I was wondering if there is any kind of setting up I should do ingame before joining you all.

Hey and welcome! I would just recommend having a quick play around in the editor to familiarize yourself with the controls and graphical settings! Since we use no mods or beta patchs you should be able to play with just combined ops freshly installed.

I would also recommend using the SThud mod (client side, will also require CBA) http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9936 if you got anymore questions don't hesitate to ask!

Just mention that you're new to the game in Teamspeak when the session starts, and don't be afraid to ask your fireteam members questions once a mission starts. We are always happy to help people new to the game!

Hey All! After a year of no arma activity i feel the urge to shoot coming back to me :) Played with folk a few times and organised some events togheter with a community i did lead at the time. But currently i am totaly Arma free and instead of making mods and play games i started running quite fanatic. But i can skip a few runs a month to play a game. I am looking forward to game ones again!
