Is there an alternative to PW6/6U for keeping A3 mods updated?

I suspect most of my A3 client-side mods which were installed a while back and not yet used in MP are now outdated.

Until Steam Workshop gets Arma 3 mods, looks like you're stuck with checking the BI forums/Armaholic every day.
