V+ Festive Special: Need to Know

When and where should I be?
Friday 20th December 2013 @ 8pm GMT (usual V+ time). We will be hosting the event on the usual Vanilla+ Server.
I'll be there! What mods will I need to join in the festivities?
Well the good news is nothing has changed since we announced it a few weeks ago. You should set up a modset with the following:
Required:
Arma 2: CO Stable (i.e. not beta - the same version you use to connect to Vanilla sessions)
i44: Invasion 1944 - v2.666 and i44 v2.666 Hotfix 2
Carraigdubh, County Leitrim Terrain - v0.8 beta (If using PW6 it will show as v1.0)
CBA
Recommended:
ShackTac Fireteam HUD (STHUD)
Of course you can use any client side mods that you usually use to enhance your experience.
How will communication work?
We will not be using ACRE for many reasons I won't go into here. Instead we will be using the FA TeamSpeak channels to communicate with each other. Due to the loss of the directional local audio feature usually offered by ACRE we would ask that anyone attending keep to the usual standards set during Vanilla sessions. The voices we should hear in TS are that of FTL's and SL's only. Keep FT based chat to Group VON.
I have an idea for a mission, where do I send it?
Great! We have a mission making framework courtesy of Wolfenswan that we can use. It's based on F2 so it should be familiar to you all. Once your mission is complete then please send it to me either via PM on these forums or by adding me to Skype: Pr3sario.
Please send the mission to me no later than Thursday evening UK time so I have time to test the mission and add it to the playlist.
Can we test our set up before the session?
Of course you can. I will be hosting a special testing session this Wednesday, 18th December from 8pm - 9pm GMT. I will also be hosting a testing session from 7pm GMT on the day of the event itself. We will do our best to get you up and running for the session.
