fa3_c44_assault_and_battery

CSAT spec ops jump out of an airplane and commit warcrimes blow up some missile launchers.

Really happy with how this played out, I only have a few minor changes in mind. Feedback is welcomed. Also, how was peoples' FPS? Chalkeia lags the shit out of my machine for some reason.

Changes in mind:
  • Streamline the process of grabbing the backpacks from the UGV a bit (ie. add "take satchel charges" and "take medikit" actions)
  • Fix the IR strobe sticking around issue
  • Beef up the reinforcements that we were too good to see a tiny bit

BTW, I couldn't move my head in the pod before the HALO jump. Intended? I also had an option to open the door, which I didn't, because I wasn't sure if that would break anything. Nor did I try pressing Alt to move my head - for the same reasons.

Not intended per se, but I don't think it's fixable. It's one of those weird animation bugs that attachTo tends to cause, and it only affect the FFV seats near the ramp so it's not a huge deal.

You can open the door, won't break anything.

I agree this mission is awesome, and btw guys next time notice that the light turns red-yellow-green and then you are booted out :D
SK, it's the Taru pod that does it, if you open the door you should be able to shoot and move your head, just the plane might be a bit slower.
