Missions:
  • Cloudline
  • Littlest Ambush
  • Into the Fire
  • Night Force
  • Salt Riders (after-party)
  • Race Thunder XL (after-party, in which Kefirz didn't win because he was totally owned by Fer)
If religion is the opium of the people, then Christmas is one of its pipes. Tonight, 25 brave and loyal comrades eschewed the lure of the capitalist festival, and instead resumed the glorious fight for a socialist agrarian utopia! Thank you to everyone who came along tonight, the Party loves you. But not in a creepy way, you understand. And if Tigershark did touch you - and I'm not saying he did - then it would have been as an individual, and not as a Party official. However, perhaps this generous financial donation will make your lawsuit go away help pay for appropriate professional help and support.

Let the history books* show that, tonight, we were very effective. We began with Cloudline, which is supposed to be a modern re-imaging of films like Where Eagles Dare, in which everyone and his dog is equipped with an SMG. Like modern-day Richard Burtons and Clint Eastwoods, we threw hand-grenades, fired from the hip, stormed the hilltop outpost and killed absolutely everyone in it. It was marvellous. Tipsy on victory, we next took on an enemy convoy near the coastal village of Edessa in comrade Audiox's mission, Littlest Ambush. During a carefully supported assault the village was taken by our infantry, whilst the heavy-weapons attachments first provided covering fire, before shifting their attention to the incoming enemy convoy; our infantry then mopped-up the remaining enemy dismounts.

By now, if we weren't drunk on victory, we were close. In our hubris, we took on the hithero unbeatable Into the Fire ... and finished it! After a planning session dripping with sexual innuendo, comrade CO Tigershark led a successful pilot rescue mission (during which I played the part of an extremely brave resistance fighter, the sole survivor of my unit, in fact). Anyway, after that, we really were drunk on Prosecco victory, which probably affected our aim in Night Force. As death-squad cops we killed a lot of Junta troops, but sadly by the end it was just comrade Kefirz playing Steven Seagall (the older, fat version). All that was left was for some firing-from-vehicles hi-jinks in Salt Riders, which saw an awesome last stand by comrade JayJoe, and finally a play-through of Race Thunder XL. Which comrade Kefirz didn't win.

As ever, please post your thoughts, feedback, screenshots and video here - comrade YouTube Hero SuperU doesn't just produce our video idents, but provides leadership and guidance to propaganda artists. We also have a new YouTube channel that he manages so if you have any content you think should feature then let him know and he will sort you out, for more info check out this thread!; more guidance on video editing for Folk ARPS is provided by comrade Ferrard Carson. Posts in the AAR threads really help us (the hosts and mission makers), both with understanding how we can improve the experiences, and showing potential comrades what our sessions are like.

:v:

* Remember, all history books must be approved by the Party.

Tonight was brilliant. And when I update 'Into the Fire' to fix the spectator script, I am definitely going to lace the briefing with innuendo.
