Patch 1.59 is out for STEAM
I'm updating my game.

I'm in the process of getting our server updated to 1.59. That part has actually happened, but there is an issue with the A2 content, blocking us from running combined ops. I'll get it resolved ASAP, and send an email out to all comrade guests when we are fully patched!

Guess I won't be joining you until 1.60 patch. The 1.59 patch won't load the game. I double click and it does nothing. Won't load up or anything and after 3 uninstalls and installs it still won't work.

G, are you installing from Steam? I just installed it on Steam and had the following issues:

• My first download didn't work - the update reported errors, so I used the 'validate' command in Steam and it determined that 3 files were broken and had to be re-acquired; this happened for both OA and ArmA2. Once I'd re-acquired the files, things got better.
• After my first download, I attempted to run Combined Ops straight away, using a third-party launcher - and that might have borked the files; on a different machine I waited for the downloads to finish, then launched ArmA2 (pure) and ArmA2:OA (pure) from within Steam, to ensure the patches were applied on first run; that seemed to work.

No Joy. I'm frustrated enough. To busy with taking care of family and normal spring chores outside and inside. Don't waste any time on me. Continue playing on...
