[Sun] 25 September 2011 - Joint session with LDDK

Post by fer » Sun Sep 04, 2011 11:18 pm

What's the scoop?
LDDK have asked us to come over. And shoot them.

What's LDDK?
The illustrious LDD Kyllikki (LDDK) is an OFP/ArmAx group that has been around for a very long time indeed. Over 10 years, in fact!

What are the people at LDDK like?
Lovely. We've had joint sessions with them in the past, and greatly enjoyed shooting each other in the face.

When is it?
20:00 CET on Sunday 25 September, 2011.

Does this replace the regular Folk session?
Yes. Everyone from Folk and ARPS is invited. Please note the earlier start time.

Which OA server will we use?
The LDDK ArmA2: Combined Operations server. Here are the details:

Address: http://www.raunhofer.net
Port: 2302
Password: kyllinyrkki

Are any addons allowed, or just vanilla ArmA 2: Combined Operations?
Just vanilla ArmA 2: Combined Operations. You may run client-side addons (STHUD etc.) but not those that might give you a competitive advantage against humans (e.g. mods that allow you to control your view distance). Please, please do NOT connect with such mods.

What kind of missions will we be playing?
Adversarial (TvT) missions! It'll be LDDK against the comrades.

Which TeamSpeak 3 server will we use?
The Folk one.

Okay, sounds good. What do you need me to do?
Just come along and enjoy the evening, comrade! If you know you're coming along, posting in this thread would be great - it's not obligatory, but it will help us plan things and is greatly appreciated by the hosts.

What if I can't make it until the usual Folk session start time, at 20:30 CET?
If all goes to plan there will be a lot of players on the server, so please understand if we don't wait for guests that arrive late in the slotting phase. If you arrive late, you'll have to wait until the second mission.

Are we expected to survive?
Why do people always ask this question?

:v:

I'm afraid I wont be able to make this one. Hopefully the issues since the last session have been addressed!
