Without meaning to hijack your thread, Feesh, I wondered: should we have a section of this forum where everyone can post a little bit about themselves? There a few ways of doing this that I've seen:
- We can have a single, sticky, Introduce yourself here thread. Everyone can post to it, and the advantage is that it acts a bit like a story: roughly showing when each person arrived in the forum. The disadvantage is that it can become quite a chore to find each person's introductury post, as they get lost amongst the comments from other guests.
- We could have a sub-forum in which each guest has their own thread, with the original post being just like Feesh's post (above). The advantage is that it's easy to find information on a particular guest; the disadvantage is it means one more sub-forum.
In either case, I think this should be an optional activity (except, perhaps, for hosts). What do you folks think?
