There's been some discussion about utilizing the fact that folk is full of excellent people (and Tigershark), and throwing that wealth of personalities into horrible, non-capitalist-slaying games. I am, of course, utterly against anything of the sort, holding the correct opinion that any time not spent slaying capitalists is time wasted, but if you want to waste the time well in a particular manner then please post your thoughts, including ideas on what sort of games you would want to play.

If there's an interest, then we can all get together and shoot/drive/eat stuff at a later date.

I'll start:

Literally. Anything. Ever. If I don't have it I'm sure I can pick it up. If I was to pick favourites, they'd be in the flight-sim genre, first person shooters, or something involving ordering hapless toy soldiers around to their agonizing deaths. However, I'm very comfortable playing pretty much anything. I even played a game Fer recommended to me once. Sure, it was absolutely bloody awful, but that's to be expected.

Also, has anyone here played Neptune's Pride? I have a stack of credits on their system which I bought whilst drunk. I think I can create a private game if anyone is interested in playing. Supports quite a few players, and is good fun. A couple of MP games I've always wanted to play with some friends:

• Shattered Horizon
• Red Orchestra
• Any of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games

Neptunes pride reminds me of VGA planets from the 90's or Stars... good memories!!! I would be up for some of that!

You're kidding, right? Deus Ex 2. One of the worst games ever made, and I played it through because YOU told me it was good.

Neptune's Pride works for me - I've never played it, but I remember hearing some good things. I'd have to pick up Shattered Horizon, but I can see myself doing that. The other games on Fer's list I've already got.

Whaaaaat? Hang on, didn't we just have a conversation about Desus Ex 2 earlier this week, in which I said I'd never played it before? 'cos that's the first time I've ever played it (and it was so bad that I uninstalled it after an hour). Now I am confused and need to call the nurse. Oh God!
