INVITIMIFIKASHUN!

Post by fer » Wed Oct 20, 2010 10:39 pm

Comrades! At a recent clandestine meeting of the Folk Politburo it was decided that Monaco really is a fabulous place to eat, even though as a centre of international ultra-capitalism every plate that the delegates enjoyed arrived courtesy of the (wholly unacceptable) oppression of the proletariat. However, as one delegate observed, in the communist paradise which shall surely come to pass when the Third International Fighting -- hang on, someone's trying to tell me something ... what? I'm not here to write about that trip? Oh, so we're not telling them how the funds are used? No? I see. Sorry. ... So, what was I supposed to write about? That? Oh! Of course.

Ahem.

Comrades! The revolutionary activities of the Third International Fighting Brigade of Takistan in the name of Che Guevara are already the stuff of legend, and you should all be decorated as Heroes of the People! However, bravery and good looks will, by themselves, only take us so far. We need cannon fodder additional comrades, for only with superior numbers shall we defeat the enemy and achieve ultimate victory! As you know, our policies do not permit us to advertise or recruit. Instead, we must rely upon each other to identify and co-opt invite good people for the purpose of participating in the folk sessions!

Yes, my dear comrades, we must launch a campaign of invitimifikashun! :v:

Perhaps your neighbour yearns to feel the thrill of vanquishing oppressors? Perhaps your cat might be trained to use its paws to push a mouse around (cats like mice, after all)? Maybe you have colleagues at work who wish to do more than just opine about revolution whilst dulling their pain with beer? Potential revolutionaries are all around us! Yes, even that girl you're too shy to ask on a date - what could be more alluring than an invitation to revolution?!!?!

Right, how was that? Was that rousing enough? Only possibly, you think? Well, don't we have some kind of poster we can use to brighten this up a bit? I'm sure there was something in that kit we sent away for. Yeah. Yeah. That one. The My First Revolution kit. Yeah. I think it's in the cupboard. That's the one. How about this?
