Hello all,

Im Spinoza from LDDK, http://www.kyllikki.fi. Since late 2007 I have been organizing friendly TvT´s against other squads and units, most notably Kellys Heroes, ShackTactical, 88th, Victrixlegion, 21st Viking Battallion. Fer and I discussed the possibility of our two groups facing each other on the battlefield and came to the conclusion it just might be worth the effort. So without further ado, here are the specifics:

-date: 12.12.2010 LDDK server, at 19.30 GMT (this means kickoff at 19.30, not connecting time)
-no mods or addons allowed, OA only
-10 players minimum from each team
-server settings: full realism, no respawn
-whining, griefing or similar bs will not be tolerated
-and perhaps most importantly: HAVE FUN!!

At present Im uncertain if we will have a LDDK made mission or a Folk one. More info will follow.

EDIT #1: We will be on different voice comms so no need to worry about that issue.

EDIT #2 (by Fer): Some updates:

• Folk and MARSOC will be using the MARSOC TS3 server (and MARSOC channels)
• LDDK has selected the Folk adversarial mission Cacheola (which we have played with MARSOC twice)
• There will be 2 play-throughs of the mission
• We've been asked to honour a 'gentleman's agreement' to limit each play-through to 50 minutes

Also, we have been warned that there is sometimes an issue with the LDDK server randomly shutting down (or, I suspect, freezing). Apparently when this happens it recovers very quickly, so in such an event LDDK asks us NOT TO DISCONNECT.

This should be great fun, comrades!

Spinoza is actually a guest here at Folk, and a long-time member of the illustrious LDD Kyllikki (LDDK), an OFP/ArmAx group that has been around for a very long time indeed.

What are the people at LDDK like?
Lovely. Before being saved by the revolution, I helped organise several STEUs (Shack Tactical Expeditionary Units) which saw delegations of ST players participate in LDDK sessions. It was always good fun.

All good revolutionaries are asked to indicate their willingness to form a revolutionary fighting contingent, which shall be sent to demonstrate the wonders of our socialist agrarian workers' paradise to the people of LDDK, by posting in this thread.
