Republic of Folk

S7 comrades have asked to join us for a USA Session on Feb 1st at 1900hrs East Coast time. S7 = Syndicate Seven group who Viper is apart of. Of course all people are welcome to join. Looking at a possible 5-10 player count from S7. Any FOLK players interested in joining with us?..

Comrade G, this sounds like a great idea!

A few quick thoughts:

• Shall we say the session is ArmA2: Combined Operations (because some missions on the server require CO, not just OA)?
• Please can you ask the S7 comrades to register on the folk forum? They'll need to list you or Viper as the inviter.
• If I give you the right access rights, please can you set up an event in the Folk Steam group, with the title:

  Folk (USA) [Tue] 02 February 2011

  Or I can do this for you for now if you prefer.
• If this is definitely happening, I'll add details of the USA session to the Getting started with Armed Assault 2 thread.

opps, G, did I get the date wrong? It turns out that February is Wednesday, not Tuesday. I have amended the title of this thread, and also the event title in Steam, to reflect that fact that the session is planned for Wednesday evening, not tonight (Tuesday). Please let me know if this is wrong.

Also, once we are certain about the date/time, would you like me to use the forum's emailer to issue a notification to all folk guests? There will be some who do not check the forums frequently but might be interested in participating. Please let me know ...

Yeah I changed it in steam.
Just email me, I didn't notice the date until you changed everything. This is ok, I was ahead by a day. I just live in the future and communicate with you guys. I just get dates screwed up sometimes. One of the very important lessons they taught us in Time Travel school...

BTW, does everyone know I am totaly bonkers?
