What's the scoop?
LDDK is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month! We have been invited to join the celebrations (by shooting them).

What's LDDK?
The illustrious LDD Kyllikki (LDDK) is an OFP/ArmAx group that has been around for a very long time indeed. 10 years, in fact!

What are the people at LDDK like?
Lovely. We had a joint session with LDDK (and MARSOC) in November 2010, which was a massive success.

When is it?
19:30 CET on Sunday 20 March, 2011.

Does this replace the regular Folk session?
Yes. Everyone from Folk is invited. Please note the earlier start time.

Which OA server will we use?
The LDDK ArmA2: Combined Operations server:

Are any addons allowed, or just vanilla ArmA 2: Combined Operations?
Just vanilla ArmA 2: Combined Operations. Please do not run any addons, including STHUD and CBA etc.

What kind of missions will we be playing?
Adversarial (TvT) missions! It'll be LDDK against Folk+MARSOC.

Are any other groups going to be there?
Only MARSOC and Folk have been invited, but there will also be independent individuals (mostly Finnish) that are expected to reinforce the LDDK side. We'll be fighting alongside our friends from MARSOC once again.

Which TeamSpeak 3 server would we use?
The MARSOC TeamSpeak 3 server:

Just come along and enjoy the evening, comrade! If you know you're coming along, posting in this thread would be great, but it's not obligatory.

What if I can't make it until the usual Folk session start time, at 20:30 CET?
Obviously it's better if you're there at the start, but if you arrive late just join the MARSOC TS3 server and wait for a new mission to start.[/color]

Are we expected to survive?
You must be new ...

I, comrade Fer, shall join a revolutionary fighting contingent, which shall be sent to demonstrate the wonders of our socialist agrarian workers' paradise to the people of LDDK. Also, I plan to stand at the back with a pistol, shooting comrades who turn and run. Or look like they might turn and run. Or just look funny.

In a change to the original plan, everyone from Folk is now invited and this replaces the regular Folk session (although it will start at 19:30 CET, which is an hour earlier than usual for us). The original post has been updated to reflect important changes; an email is going out shortly ...

i'll be attending this session, although i might be a bit late (we mostly put the kids to bed at 7pm)

I'll try and make the earlier time and DO a US evening session also. Might have Mason back in our mist, so that's two of us...

I've just joined the session (20:00 UK time). The server is packed with 56 players on the slotting screen and more still attempting to join.

Join times are around 2-4 minutes. Just wait it out and you'll make it in eventually.
