1. OA server
We have an OA server! Right now it supports 14 players, but as and when we need more slots / performance, we can easily scale up. Details of how to access the server can be found in the Getting Started with Armed Assault 2: Operation Arrowhead thread. As a reminder, we also have a TeamSpeak 2 server, details of which can be found in the Getting started with TeamSpeak 2 thread. All of this means that ...
2. First official folk session: 21:30 CET (20:30 UK) on Sunday 08 August
... unless anyone has any major objections, the first official folk session will be at 21:30 CET (20:30 UK) on Sunday 08 August. Until then, please feel free to loiter in the folk IRC channel - there will be plenty of testing going on as we pull our missions into shape.
3. Call for missions
Tigershark and me should have a few missions (each) ready for the first official session, and whilst the session itself is only 2 hours long, it would be wonderful to have too many missions to choose from. The Writing missions for folk thread contains all the pointers an experienced mission maker should need, including links to the necessary templates and files. Alternatively, if in your travels around the ArmAx community you have encountered pre-existing missions which you think could be played (either unadapted or with a little tinkering), please let the hosts know.
