Good evening!

Hello fellow folk,

I'm Liddle Feesh, or you can call me Mike if your not feeling particularly aquatic (or northern).

I was invited by Fer and I love the premise of this group. I really want to get a few good games in, with the benefit of good company, without having to commit to a clan practice schedule. Awesome idea Fer, may it long continue...

Back in a bit :)

Without meaning to hijack your thread, Feesh, I wondered: should we have a section of this forum where everyone can post a little bit about themselves? There a few ways of doing this that I've seen:
  • We can have a single, sticky, Introduce yourself here thread. Everyone can post to it, and the advantage is that it acts a bit like a story: roughly showing when each person arrived in the forum. The disadvantage is that it can become quite a chore to find each person's introductury post, as they get lost amongst the comments from other guests.
  • We could have a sub-forum in which each guest has their own thread, with the original post being just like Feesh's post (above). The advantage is that it's easy to find information on a particular guest; the disadvantage is it means one more sub-forum.
In either case, I think this should be an optional activity (except, perhaps, for hosts). What do you folks think?

I think your second option would be preferable

I agree. Unless you're not expecting more than around 50 guests (a single thread is less manageable than a sub forum)

Nice to see you again Feesh.

Hey...quick question. What comes to your mind when you hear this sound?
Fap fap fap fap fap fap?

The first time I ever said that was back in 1999 in a Team Fortress (HL2) game. Someone said it was the sound of a large woman wearing jeans and running to catch a bus.

What does it sound like to you?

(Nice to see you here too :))
