Because it has new platoons to play with: US Army and Takistani Army. And the TK Army kids get FN FALs. What's not to love about that? Now we can play as capitalist pig running dogs, or their Takistani counter-revolutionary lap-dogs. All in vanilla OA.

Hmm I fell out of the love with L1A1 FAL when I realised how easily they lose their zero - like every time you open the damn thing up to clean them

Having zero experience with actual firearms, I can safely say that the FN FAL is one of the most bitchin' weapons ever. 7.62? Fuck yes.
