Since the alpha for Insurgency 2:Electric Boogaloo I would think a forum interested in another first-person tactical shooter would be interested in this.
The Insurgency:Modern Infantry Combat was originally conceived by a soldier returning home from war. It was released in 2007, winning the ModDB “Player’s Choice Mod of the Year award and hitting 1 million downloads.
It is a source mod with semi realistic gameplay. That means one-hit kills with most weapons,no ammo counter just a clip count and overall minimal HUD.
The new game is still in source and aims to recreate the same but upgraded experience. It was succesfully kickstarted and is now in open alpha for 10 euros or your national equivalent.
