Would anyone be interested in some nostalgia session of good old OFP?
I just bought it off steam, looks like mods are working and you even can run executable without steam. At the moment I'm completing modfolder and mission list (old shactac still has a lot of them online).
Missions I think are a must would be Desert Ambush (Ferrard should be happy of it - 2 LAWs to get 4 BMPs) and coop campaign predeceasing zombie craze - nogova virus.

I might be up for it, depends on the time though.

I've just been playing though OpF (or Cold War Crisis which I discovered I was entitled to upgrade it to). I'd forgotten all about the deadspace in the centre of the screen and actually miss the inventory system. AND why do you always get issued SIX! grenades but only 4 mags? Madness! And don't get me started on the AI drivers.

But yeah I'd definately be interested in an online session. Never experienced it the first time round.

Homer, you are encouraged to sneak up on enemies and grenading them rather than shooting.

Ha, tempting but no. I only sneak up on someone for the purpose of a surprise ass slapping.

Yah, very generous of them. I should have posted that myself a while back.

But just remember, if you have the game of the year edition, i.e. the one that includes Red Hammer and Resistance, ONLY the original OpF and Resistance are freshly installed as 1.99. If you want to play Red Hammer you'll have to play that from the CD installed version which you can (and should) update to 1.96.
