[Sat] 20 May 2017 (Vintage eggs)

This week's AAR thread took a moment to be created, because a tattoo needed to be made first:

Bad Eggs 4 lyf

This time we had quite a nice turnout, with yours truly, Commander Teizan, Costno, egg651, Fer, Halop, harakka, Toppometer and washington. Missions on the menu:
  • Fly Swatter
  • Mangroovin'
  • Zelenyy I
  • Old Men
  • Cholo 2017
  • Jolly Green Hell
  • Arbitration
After a false start (apparently G is no longer a button for the inventory) we moved to Tanoa in order to steal some cocaine in Fly Swatter. It felt so good when we managed to take the sentries down without alerting the main force, even better when a helicopter went down. Now if only if Cowboy 2 did stop the reinforcements before they reached the AO; or if Cowboy 1 didn't get massacred by a single guy on a tower... Well, it was vintage glorious. Cocaine!

Still staying on Tanoa, with a truck full of cocaine, we tried to feel the groove of Mangroovin'. Wolfenswan claims that ZU-23 should not be omniscient anymore, but we didn't fell for it and circled the AO only to get killed in town.

I can't tell you much about Zelenyy I. We won and I survived, but we didn't see much in the BMP:

An easy win led us to the streets of Zargabad, where Costno had his rites of passage. Which he almost passed. We could already see the airport when I missed the BRDM at the entrace. A miss that led to our quick demise as a single grenade launched by a sentry next to it killed most of us. Sorry.

Staying in 'old men' vibes we played a round of Cholo. Crazy luck edition (some players managed to dodge bullets that were ment to kill them - investigation pending).

As the finale for old men medley, we tried out luck in Jolly Green. One should never try their luck in Jolly Green. Even though we managed to find out where we are in minutes since start, and signal an emergency-uaz fire, the mission still wasn't done with us: coming to a perfect landing on a bridge, helicopter just fell of the sky. Another chopper was on the way, but by the time it came everyone was either dead or lying on the ground bleeding and surrounded by the enemies. Thankfully helicopter's door gunner, Egg, was able to liberate everyone in one single burst without harming any of the enemies. It looked like this:
:jihad: :jihad: :psyboom: :jihad: :psyboom: :jihad: :jihad: :psyboom: :jihad: :jihad:

Thanks for coming. Our sessions are looking more and more serious thanks to you showing up. For now we don't have any financial or technical problems so the best thing you can do is to wake up at 6AM or stay up till late night and play with us. And if you don't do it, shame on you.

PS. Arbitration, as always, was glorious. Even for those wearing wrong colours and Halop.
Delete this marker please. You're scaring the tank.
