Also, some important thank you messages to people who have made this year of continued Folk possible (in sort of 'by appearance' order):
Bodge: Who, despite being a Bodgist, gave us all shelter on his island, and allowed us to re-invent ourselves as a thriving, capitalist society that manufactures affordable white goods for overseas export. We wouldn't still exist but for his momentary lapse in grumpiness.
Boberro: Who has become a technical powerhouse, and whose labours (and expenditure) have given us the servers, the repo, and countless little tweaks to the addons that make the modern day Folk experience what it is. And by 'modern day' I mean, of course, 1970s Russia. But, seriously, none of this year's sessions would have happened without this man.
Head and Snippers: Who lent us their technical expertise, and even some Nazi technologies, so that we could kickstart our manufacturing economy and overtake the Mainland with superior industrial output and quality in all areas.
Kefirz: Who, in his lust for power a map case, has stepped up to become a host. Obviously, it hasn't stopped him complaining about everything all the time, but now he can actually do something about it!
Brightcandle, and the military advisers from Charlie Foxtrot: Who put up with our merciless teasing about cosplay, but have made us better Arma players through osmosis - although we continue to be the world's most disppointing students, because we are super-meta and are, in fact, cosplaying corrupt ARVN officers.
Commander Teizan, Costno, Intel64gamer, Kalelovil, Toppometer, washington and wolfenswan: who have worked tirelessly to create a mission stockpile that, as I write this with a week to go in 2017, has reached 95 in under a year (with some contributions from Boberro and myself included). This is something to be really proud of, citizens.
And finally, to all citizens and military advisers who have come to the Folk sessions: thank you.

More words about last night's missions to follow ...
