We started off this session as on-vacation VDV being invaded by some United States Marines in
Shore, Ooorah. I lead this one, setting up in the main village to be able to fire on the enemy as they made a beach landing.
Except the Marines were all incompetent and didn't actually bring any ammo that actually fit in their guns.
(Overlapping vacation times? Non-violent intent? Nonsense!)
Then we played a new one of mine,
Linguistic Difficulties, wherein Most of our guys spoke French, some Germans in a Wiesel spoke German, and a couple of the above spoke English.
Things went well as we cleared out a small town until we all died by spontaneous (RPG-assisted) combustion and Spacing issues relating to spontaneous (RPG-assisted) combustion.
Then we played...
Actually, I think we just got shelled to oblivion for a bit in
Blinded Bravo - Kefirz was the Squad Leader and died instantly, leaving us to mill about beneath a hail of mortar fire before the mission was ended.
Very atmospheric, and I managed to survive!
After that brief interlude of Death by Artillery, we proceeded into
Outpost Kamenka. Where I achieved a kill-streak of 100 via Death by Artillery, some mines, a few full mags of bullets, etc. etc. We lost anyway.
