I turned up a little early to this session, and did a bit of mission testing with Kefirz. I ended up having to immediately bail to fix a problem
(how did it even happen) with the mission we tested.
Soon enough I was back in, last to slot as the session started with a quick round of
Guardians I.
This mission provided evidence (and war cries) that Murshun Cig addiction kills. By lag. Lots of lag.
After we were done chain-smoking (and wearing weirdly modern uniforms), we moved on to mission two:
Dusters. I'd actually recorded this one, which is good since the background gunfire and explosions are better as an experience rather than a retelling and it's otherwise a fairly simple mission.
Here it is (27m):

This one was notable for the return of El Staberinde (Fer) after his month (or so) of absence.
Third on the list was a run of the almost never-beaten mission,
Pridorozhnyy I. I was A1 FTL, Wash was the SL.
I'd actually AFKed through the planning (twice), we started the mission with a long south-western run, A1 was ordered to continue south on a hill-climb before reorienting east, and then we tried an attack from two sides. Sounds semi-reasonable?
Pridorozhnyy is an old mission that has only ever been beaten once, and this wasn't that time.
Next up was another round of
Gopniks. I got to drive again when nobody else took the seat (I've never not driven in Gopniks so far) and we went on and attacked a dockyard (after being informed the Police Station was FakeNews.)
We actually won this one clearly and legitimately with no unfortunate accidents, for once. 9mm Pistol Victory Fire!
The last/second to last Mission this session was a new Washington-branded one,
Exposed.
This mission saw us (as 2035 NATO) facing off against the FIA, who had attacked an AAF/IDAP convoy. We started off-site, and were forced to rush our Littlebirds - one for Transport, and another for Attack - over to the ambush site.
I can't actually say much about how this mission went, because my role in it as the pilot of AH1 was exclusively aiming and firing twin miniguns, and variable-type rocket pods. The two things I can say about that except for Dakka, is that someone had drawn a not-even-remotely accurate aimpoint on my windshield in permanent marker and that the miniguns had been equipped with silencers for every barrel.
The three things I can say for the mission are that TH1 crashed early and had to respawn as TH2 (without a Radio), that the infantry managed to find and evacuate the VIP (I think), and that Boberro fell out of TH2 and I shot his corpse for a bit on impact as Victory Fire.
Mission note: AH1 had next to no communication with the ground force because there wasn't much of a reason for communication. The FIA OPFOR were exclusively infantry who just swarmed toward the ambush site with no real means of fighting back against helicopters.
The afterparty,
Old Blood, is
Old Men with MP5s. We all died, refer to previous AARs for the variety of methods (but mostly by BRDM-mounted PKMs).
