After waking up and finding out Bodge had started early, I joined Dynamic Recon Ops five minutes before the end of the mission. From what I saw of it, this one won't be missed.
Then we played Super Tactical Night-Vision Guys in Daylight twice in a row. We failed the first time when we were spotted almost immediately - kicking off the kill VIP or fail timer. We failed, were told to extract, and then were all Viper .50 Cal'd.
The second run had a much simpler destroy-the-trucks objective. I had the charges. Egg had the UAV. There was a small wall-less shack full of Vipers. There were Vipers all over the rooftops. There was a Qilin that drove past and we never saw again. There were more Vipers. I set the charges and sprinted away from many bullets. I got shot. The medic came at the last possible moment when Skulls were dancing.
Honestly, I'm fairly sure I and Egg were the only one to survive this mission without respawning.
Then we switched over to Malden. I had the Charges again, there was a TigerShack full of Malden Armed Forces that we expended entire magazines of ammunition on, both of the trucks were detonated by Explosive Charges (The first one caused a building collapse), we ran (slowly enough that I just walked) to Exfil, and Washington(?) was almost murdered by a very angry shack. No sir, there were no grenades involved. No sir, you cannot prove I planted a landmine inside.
Escape from Malden is a tale of Angry Artillery, Angry V-44 gunships, Angry AH-6s, Angry Panthers, Landmines, and Very Angry Cheetahs.
I didn't even know Cheetahs could murder buildings full of CSAT that quickly. I'm not even sure how I survived.
It was also fairly long, and altogether we died twenty or so times before I very heroically disabled the last Panther and Littlebird preventing our escape, waited for somebody (Harry?), and Escaped from Malden. There was a serious crash in the middle of the escape (I think Team Lead Bodge's pilot said "Oh by the way, we're crashing.") while we flew away.
