Missions:
  • Ugarte I
  • Ugarte II
  • Ugarte III
  • Hindwork II
We went to Ruha and stayed there. For a while, we were in the 1950s and things were black and white. Later, it was more contemporary, and it was in colour. Throughout, one could hear a lot of shooting, often the slow stutter of an M3 grease gun. Those things are both terrible and wonderful at the same time, if you ask me! Thank you to all who made it along, except for whoever it was that used an RPG against an unarmed civilian and his car.

You murderer.

I missed the first mission of Ugarte, because Windows. :science101:

I made it into the second, though, in which we were ambushed before the mission started, and loaded in under fire, diving at full speed into a nearby ditch. Some shooting, and win! :jihad:
(Add AI drivers for a rolling start before the fighting starts, Fer? Bonus points for ensuring the driver dies first.)

Then we went into Ugarte III, buoyed by our successes - and we all got shot. Can't remember much else.

Finally, we followed up with Hindwork II, a more-Ruha-less-Tanks version of Hindwork I. I actually remembered to take screenies in this one.

A pic of our Hind, piloted by GeEom, as we disembarked.

The very scenic Ruhan woodland.

A Finnish position being marked for CAS, and a Hind photobomb.

CAS arriving.

Somewhere between here and Exfil, Proeskoet died to Unexploded Ordinance as we walked through a site we had called Cluster Bombs in on.
:suicide:

Then more things happened (I died), Hind crashed and burned, we got a rare respawn wave, I died, and Exfil arrived.

The whole mission was tremendously scenic, and I felt bad for Fer who died very early on. Then I noticed some strange civilian driving through an active warzone, noted it on radio, and watched as someone (I just can't remember who) put a rocket through his classic black GAZ.
