As a postscript, something changed between the latest nVidia drivers and the latest Arma updates in the last month or so and ever since last Sunday I've been consistently getting 30fps or higher in-game with my 560Ti at full 1920x1080 native resolution and YAAB (now upgraded to v.9something and a lot friendlier to use) is reporting 22-25fps depending on the run and the status of the rubber chicken.
And it is a whole other game at that level. Seriously, 60fps must be actually shockingly fluid and immersive the first time you see it, if this is anything to go by.
