Not much to say about the games - they were fun (and I've mostly forgotten how things went)
Still, some thoughts for the missions.
First up was Snipper's Dynamic Squad Mission.
What proceeded during this mission was we, with our FALs and an M60, fought against Rebels, who were exclusively infantry. It went very well (almost everybody died) and we won (so, acceptable casualties). MMG (me and Bodge) were clearly the real heroes with many kills.
My problem with this one is that I don't know much about the 'Dynamic' part and how the missions are generated - how many Infantry v Infantry missions are we going to get out of this?
Next up were two of mine, Breakdown and Patrol Cars. Both of these have since been updated.
Apparently the AI of Breakdown decided to live up to the mission's name, and broke down entirely, simply refusing to move. It took Kefirz a lot of pushing them via Zeus to get them to do anything. Much facepalm this mission.
Patrol Cars, next, had a briefing error. Additional facepalm. Still, things went vaguely well and many of us (and our BRDM) died to surprise HMG.
Assault 2035, a technically brand-new Washington mission, was not a straight copy of the traditional Assault mission. While I have mixed feelings about this (due to the mission being much easier than before), I liked the attention to detail that was put into Houdan. Not much else to it, though - this was another infantry to infantry fight that we won with acceptable casualties (that were acceptable because we won).
The Gopniks by Washington was awesome. The lack of radios was fun. The music was the best part. I died. There was a heart-breakingly/dramatically/somethingly inevitable betrayal. 10/10, we'll obviously play this again.
