This session was pretty much great. Insert more description of greatness here. Etcetera, 16 players. Great!

Mission number one today was the Mujahideen raid on a Soviet Checkpoint, Point Break! (48m recording here: https://youtu.be/SAFaBWGR4FM)

Point Break saw Fer as our Glorious Leader (and a random doctor named Halop who falsely decried the obviously infallible Mujahideen leadership for unsubstantiated claims such as promising to give him a FAL and then giving him a Mosin Nagant), myself as the leader of Team 1, and Snippers of 1Tac who lead Team 2. We three of the Gloriously Faultless Leadership of the Mujahideen were the only ones to get radios, and we gave everyone else the newfangled inventions of String Cups.

Fer quickly established a plan (and Boberro established awesome music) where we would remain entirely on the south-eastern side of the mountain ridge that sheltered us from the Soviet Checkpoint as we approached a Mortar base that has historically been extremely dangerous. It was then decided that we of Team 1 would lead the charge against the Red Menace in the first battle while Team 2 stayed back to watch us do everything!

But wait, something is missing...
Ah yes, I should look into adding War Cries to next Point Break update. :jihad:

The mission began! And then after a brief interlude in which the assault stalled to watch a BRDM drive past, we launched our divinely justified assault on the treacherous crag that held the Mortar Base! We charged!

We were absolutely slaughtered, almost to a man, and only Bormanov escaped bullet-free, where I was the only survivor besides. The Mortar Base strikes again!

Once Team 2 and the Glorious Leader (and the Doctor) made a follow-up charge to save us and finish clearing the Mortar Base, Team 1 stood at only two strong (plus Kefirz a minute later) and were re-cast as the miscellaneous team (MMG, MAT, MTR, we do it all!) while Fer dragged us around on the ridgeline as he set up an assault on the Checkpoint. Over the next ten or so minutes, we would put MMG fire into the bunker system, put an RPG through a BRDM, and rain High Explosive all over that BMP (which may or may not have been invincible because RHS).

Then the Glorious Leader died, putting me in charge, and I decided the only team with anti-tank assets remaining (Us with some looted AT grenades) should suicide charge the BMP. We died. Then Snippers, leader of Team 2 decided to follow our example. They died. :owned:

True glory was still attained in the attempt.

Second on the list was another of mine - the one and only (so far) Dusters, the Soviet artillery-initiated assault on a Mujahideen town.
While still really fun to play, I...wait, could I...

No, I shall save copy-pasting my AAR for the next time. (Dusters really hasn't changed much in replaying it, except that we lost the BRDM early on this time.)

Third on the list today was Fallacies, the FAL and Cluster bomb mix on Tanoa! Now with 100% less Cluster bombs!
This time, I was an AAR, Halop was the CASguy (and because Bombs broke in CBA or something because of new LOAL he ended up with decorative cluster-bombs), and Washington was my Autorifle buddy. I can't remember anyone else's roles.

The mission began with some immediate proving that RHS's M113 is bork, and then we moved through to the occupied village - Laikatoro or something. There the AI began immediately proving their true abilities of absolute grasshax and we started taking serious losses immediately - inflicting only a 1:1 (or similar) kill-ratio in return, which ceased only once all of the five remaining Tanoan Armed Forces (us, not including me) retreated into an old (cleared) bunker.

From there they would make their truly devious plan...pile into the Humvee and drive at full speed through the village and through the next town guns blazing until they died. They saw this plan through to a magnificently shooty end. :clint: :clint: :clint: :clint: :clint:

For the last 'mission', Fer's Broadcast, I was the attache being protected by some 3IFB as the Tanoan Armed Forces made to raid us with their far inferior equipment but much superior numbers.
I'd taken the Attache slot because it was apparently the AFK slot for this mission, but actually got back before Mission Start had been called.
From then on I wandered around in my second floor room alternatingly looking out a window for Tanoans and standing in front of my radio (which came with no music at all, what kind of useless radio doesn't even -).

Then Fer came back to guard me, and suddenly the Tanoans had arrived. He died bravely defending me (although I'm not sure if he actually killed anyone) and then I shot a Tanoan once and got shot a lot in return. Mission Failed!

Then we played Cholo, in which I killed three of the four cops (and applied bullet-based medicinal practice to somebody), and to finish off the session we played Gopniks again. Washington had graciously skipped Cholo to emergency-edit this so we could fit more people in it...but was one slot too short to fit himself. No slot for Washington. :cop:
