Takedown: Red Sabre

Post by tryteyker » Tue Sep 17, 2013 3:52 pm

Anybody been kickstarting this? Looks and feels more like a sequel to SWAT 4 (although, obviously, not the same setting). It's coming out 20th September on Steam, 14 Euros. Basically, it's aimed to those who played the first Ghost Recon / SWAT 4, tactical, slow. Video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S79C8NJCntQ Steam page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/236510/

Yes, I took part in the kickstarter. It is available for download now. It is pretty light on features as it stands. At least compared to the old greats that it takes it's inspiration from. However, as there is nothing quite like it nowadays it is still pretty fun.

It is pretty hard to find populated servers so far. If any of you folks want to give it a test drive in mp, I am willing to jump in.

According to Totalbiscuit, launch day's bugged as hell. Server browser doesn't work (shows 0/12 players at all times even if it's populated), disconnects people from singleplayer games, AI isn't really that good (does not react to impacts properly, unless suppressed) etc.
