Are any of the addons listed on this page required?
No. all addons listed on this page are optional. You can choose to use all, some, or none of them in an FA ArmA 3 session.

Can I use any client-side addon in an FA session?
No. We are currently white-listing addons on the ArmA 3 server. Only the addons listed and linked to in this post are permitted (the server will not let you connect with other addons).

Automated Folk ARPS mod repository
Folk ARPS does maintain a repository for Swifty, a highly recommended and very lightweight tool to keep mods up to date and in synchronization with our server.


Permitted (optional) ArmA 3 client-side addons:

Already included in the swifty repository:

• Community Base Addons - required for many other addons Version 3.1.0.160928
• TAO Fold Map
• Digital Compass Display - shows your bearing when opening the compass
• Push-to-hear - temporarily lower game sounds on key press
• FA_gps+ (by Head) - Returns the gps to the old ways in a2
• FA_map - Defaults to white contour map instead of terrain map
• Mag Repack - Allows you to repack magazines.
  
  ZEUS addons - running these addons as ZEUS will guarantee players a similar experiencing as with our server-controlled AI
• ASR_AI3 - The AI mod FA is running on the server. Without it the AI under your control will use vanilla behavior (higher accuracy etc.). Version 0.9.31 ||Updated 02 October 2016
• ARES - expands ZEUS with a selection of very useful features.
• Extra ZEUS compositions by austin_medic < only this version will work on the server
• FIA placable as OPFOR/INDFOR

Not part of the swifty repository:

• ShackTac_UI
• DynaSound
• LAxemann's Immerse - We recommend disabling the twitching effect.
• FA_warname (by Head)- changes the names of the in-game weapons to their real life counterparts
• MRB Voice Stop - "This addon fully disables the AI radio protocols in ArmA3." (Spotting etc.) Version 1.4

Optional TeamSpeak 3 addons:

• CrossTalk - allows you to add distortion and duck channels on TS3
• Mike's TS3 whisper plugin - improves TS3 CC by putting it on one ear and adding (optional) mic clicks

Regarding CBA 1.0.7.140710 RC2

We are NOT updating CBA3 as of yet (15/07/2014) due to reported issues in the new release. We will provide a download-link for the older version (RC1) shortly.

JSRS 2.2 has been whitelisted on probation.

What does this mean? That the party has collected enough evidence to believe that the reasons for former concern have been eliminated dealt with. Please feel free to connect to the FA server(s) with JSRS 2.2 enabled. However, we are going to monitor future sessions for possible issues caused by JSRS and will reverse this decision if necessary.

The party does appreciate your help in this regard and might ask you to provide us with your RPTs or other sensitive information. You are free to ignore any such requests under the usual consequences

Updated CBA to the latest version (RC4).

Added ASR_AI3 to the list. This is only relevant for players who intend to be the curator in one of our ZEUS-missions, as it will ensure that the behaviour of spawned units mirrors the AI behaviour we are used to.

Removed JSRS probation status as there didn't seem to a massive effect on perfomance and no complaints from players.
